The 65C card variation came out shortly after the 65A and 65B variation. The card is the same as the 65B on the front and has 2 differences from the 65B on the back of the card. The major difference is that the mail away offer has been changed to the Chewbacca Bandolier Strap, which you could wear round your body like Chewbacca and you could put action figures into it rather than ammunition. This required 5 names tags plus a cheque or postal order for £3.50 to be sent to the given Palitoy address. The text to the left of the Palitoy text has changed from Offer open to U.K. residents only which was on the 65A and 65B to Offer ends January 31st 1984 followed by Open to U.K. residents only. Some cards have the line with the closing date blacked out with a black marker pen, presumably to extend the period of the special offer. The text (ROJ/2) is in the bottom right hand corner of the card. The punch is either perforated or unperforated on this card variation. This card was manufactured in the Coalville factory in the UK.

Like with the 65A and 65B only the first set of 17 ROTJ figures were released on this card.

There is a sub variation of this card which is made in China rather than made in Hong Kong and is known as 65CC. It says Made in China rather than Made in Hong Kong on the bottom right hand corner on the front of the card. On the back the letters HG follow the (ROJ/2) text. Rebel Commando is the only figure known to exist on this sub variation. There is also a sub variation where the letters HG follow the letters (ROJ/2) on the bottom right hand corner on the back of the card. This sub variation is 65CG and has been seen on the Logray (Ewok Medicine Man) and Bib Fortuna figures. This factory code HG indicates that these cards were manufactured in Asia by the Palitoy (Far East) Ltd company. The first letter H denotes the factory location which is in Hong Kong. The second letter denotes the factory. The letter code HG indicates the cards were made in Hong Kong in the Kader Industries factory, where all the early card variations were made. The 65CC cards which have Made in China on the front of the card and a Hong Kong factory code on the back of the card are because Kader Industries moved their Hong Kong factory to Shekou in mainland China in 1983. Since the factory code was established, it was left unchanged. This also shows that 65CC cards were manufactured later than 65CG cards.

In the Netherlands, the 65A variation and also the 65B and 65C were sold with a wrap round Clipper sticker. The front of the card has the sticker on the right hand bottom corner with the same text that features on the 45BN in the tilted white box. The back of the card has the Clipper sticker on the lower half of the card covering up the English text that is there. Since this was not made up to be a Palitoy card, but a Clipper card, it is not given a sub variation on the Palitoy cardback guide.

The example shown below has additional Spanish stickers applied over the Clipper stickers indicating that the card was offered on the Dutch market initially and then shipped to Spain for sale there. The yellow Spanish sticker on the front of the card is the same as is seen on Spanish PBP cards. It says 1 Figura Gratis Mira Las Instrucciones Al Dorso which translated into English says 1 Figure Free See Instructions on Back.

This is an Italian sticker that appeared on a Biker Scout on this variation.

This card featured Tri-Logo style bubbles with rounded corners and square corners on the back plate. Logray and Squid Head have a regular size Tri-Logo style bubble and Gamorrean Guard has a very large square Tri-Logo style bubble.

This card also featured double stemmed bubbles found on 45 back cards. Squid Head also has a double stemmed bubble.

This card variation also saw the use of rectangular bubbles with square corners and rounded corners on the back plate for some figures. These rectangular bubbles come in a variety of different sizes.

This card variation was in the stock of unused cardbacks acquired by Toy Toni after the Palitoy factory closed and subsequently made into MOC with unused bubbles. There are only a few 65C unused cardbacks. They were 86 Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard Disguise), 81 Logray (Ewok Medicine Man), 60 Squid Head, 31 Gamorrean Guard and 30 Princess Leia Organa (Boussh Disguise). Rectangular bubbles with square corners and rounded corners on the back plate were used by Toni and these bubbles are not seen on shop sold examples for the figures he used them on for this card variation. The double stemmed bubble for Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard Disguise) is due to Toni. Also, the rectangular bubble with square corners for Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard Disguise), Logray, Squid Head and Gamorrean Guard are due to Toni.

Lastly, the single stemmed bubble for Princess Leia Organa (Boussh Disguise) is due to Toni. 65CC and 65CG variations are unaffected and are not Toy Toni stock.
